How do we provide high quality rendering ?
Actronika’s technology provides advanced haptic effects such as the perception of fine textures, depth, or material properties. It employs wide-bandwidth proprietary actuators featuring very short mechanical time constants. These actuators are not only highly effective in haptics but also excel in the auditory range.
The actuators are controlled by a physical and perceptual engine that goes much beyond classic haptic rendering. Actronika’s hardware/firmware system, the Tactronik® engine, is embedded in a module that can be integrated in our clients’ devices. These proprietary hardware and algorithmic components are the fruit of many years of scientific research. In appropriate contexts, the Tactronik® engine can also accommodate third-party actuators.
