Actronika is looking for a C# Developer (Internship)

Actronika is looking for an intern in C# development for Unity3D (5-6 months) to contribute to the software development of Actronika’s product.

About Actronika

Created in 2016, Actronika is a French company whose innovations in haptic technology allow it to position itself among the global leaders in the field.

We work with global tech industry leaders to help them develop their product interfaces by using vibrotactile feedback. With our client partners, we work on projects notably in the video game, virtual reality, automotive and mobile industries. Creating precise, targeted touch-based experiences in HMI interfaces like gaming controllers, steering wheels, VR vests or smartphone screens allows us to re-incorporate this essential sense into our increasingly digitized daily life.

Today, Actronika is developing Skinetic, a body-suit made for virtual reality integrating its state-of-the art haptic technology and delivers along with the suit a software suite for designers and developers to create immersive experiences.

You will be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team, developing innovative solutions for global markets. You will be heavily involved in the life of the software department and will be part of the development process of products.

Role and mission

  • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solution
  • Integrate our software solution within Unity3D
  • Design demonstrations of the integrated solution.
  • Ensure responsiveness of applications
  • Ensure cross-platform behavior for standard OS (Windows, Linux and MacOS).
  • Design and develop effective APIs

Profile

  • You are in the last year of Master’s Degree in Game Development, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Proficiency at developing in C# and using Unity3D.
  • Knowledge with programming languages like C++ or Python.
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools and continuous integration principles.
  • Interest in game engines and disruptive technologies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good analytical skills and autonomous.
